Configurable Interface |
Don't care about weather? Would you rather see the search block appear in the right column instead? You can now enable/disable any of the WebGate panels and change where they appear on the main page.

News |
Supply WebGate with any valid RSS feed and it will pull down that feed for you every hour (or at whatever interval you prefer). I've tested it with Yahoo Top Stories, Google News, Slashdot, Space Sciences News (or any other Moreover news feed), CNET News.com, and local news.

Blogger.com Integration |
If you don't know what blogging is, you can probably ignore this feature. But basically, WebGate can pull down Atom feeds (the format blogger.com uses) and show it in an integrated form. So if you have a blog running over at Blogger.com it can now be integrated into WebGate and show as another normal feed.

Searching |
WebGate provides integrated searching and is built into the web interface. As of version 0.3 there are three searches available: Google, Dictionary, and Internet Movie Database (IMDB). More are planned for the future (isbn and ebay).

Television Grid |
This is a fully searchable TV guide that's updated every 24 hours with 7 days worth of guide data. The TV grid shows you a 3 hour window of 10 channels. You can browse forwards and backwards between channel pages and 3 hour time-slots. Click on a program and you get a "popup" style box that shows the details of a particular show. The grid is also searchable by program name or description.

Skins |
WebGate's web interface is completely skinnable. Right now there are only two skins available. The original "Sentinel" skin - and a new lighter weight skin that was introduced with version 0.3.

Browser Support |
WebGate supports both Internet Explorer (I've only tested it with 6) and Mozilla (I've tested it with Mozilla Firefox 0.6+). The web interface looks nearly identical in either browser.
